A traditional home in Naoussa, Paros, was renovated to host a restaurant. The overall concept of the project was to respect the island's aesthetic character. The exterior structures and aesthetics of the building were preserved to create a dining place of a timeless and ergonomic character. Everything, the interior design, the architectural layout of outdoor spaces at the veranda, as well as the selection of materials, was done according to a specific plan, a strict timetable and under rigorous supervision by KDiakosmos, Kyriaki Kleopa’s practice, in cooperation with the Interior Designer Thalia Ntourou (IN TECTUS). Priority was given to the uniformity of structural elements. The old staircase was demolished and a new iron lightweight structure was placed instead. Furniture and custom-made elements with simple, modern lines were used for the implementation of the project.
