A newly-built maisonette was refurbished to achieve a mix & match style by combining modern and classic elements. The earth tones and bright open spaces create an elegant, informal atmosphere. The entire design, space layout, and selection of materials, were carried out by KDiakosmos in cooperation with InTectus (Thalia Ntourou) Walls were demolished and custom-made elements were designed for every room. The objective was a house with a modern design – which is what characterizes the owners – where some classic-style elements of an emotional value have been introduced. The earth-inspired color palette was selected after consultation with the owners. Next to the living room, the classic dining table, a piece of furniture from the owner’s family home, was combined with a modern wall-mounted buffet created by the Designers. A stylish and functional home, with a serene atmosphere and plenty of light; the ideal retreat for a young family.
